technology reading
i do not know if i am doing this right or if we are suppose to make a comment about the technology article but i am going to anyways. The main thing that came to my mind when reading the article is why people are so worried about people putting their information on facebook and myspace. If you dont think its right then do not do it. Worry about yourself and let other people do what they think is right for them. Also when they were talking about being so worried that everyone is always emailing, texting , or playing with their blackberry made me kind of mad. People need to communicate with one another whether it is for work or just to talk with family or friends it what is easiest and most convenient so i dont know why people mind it so much.

ReplyDeleteAndrew made a good point from my perspective when talking about people being so worried on what they post on the internet. Also, I have definitely noticed separation that has been created between people because of technology.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andrew. If people are freaking out about whats on the internet then don't put personal things on the internet, its that simple. I love being able to be on my cell phone and connect with my friends and family who I don't get to see. People live busy lives. Most people don't have time to sit and have conversations on the phone texting and email make it easier.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the people that are worried about people being immersed in technology do not use/understand technology themselves. Think about the shear number of lives that have been saved just because someone in a bad situation had a cell phone. Technology is a great thing if you know how to use it correctly.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andrew. People need to use good judgment and only put appropriate information on the internet. They need to take responsibility for themselves and the consequences are no ones fault but their own.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of you. Having all this technology at our fingertips everyday all the time makes things so much easier. Being able to keep in contact with family members, friends and my girl friend at the click of a button or by a simple call makes everyday better. I feel that emailing and texting during a class or lecture is the point at which technology is annoying and rude. People need to learn some manners and have respect for others when in a setting such as these.
