The extreme use of technology in todays world has brought down the lack of customer service and the personal side to talking to each other. Yes, the use of technology has speeded up the processing and some external problems to our communication but to me it brings down the overall personal side to business and friendship. The use of cell phones has taken away from the personal side of communicating with each other, via emails or texts.

I agree with you Ryan and I believe that when put to good use, technology is a great asset to society. When overused, however; technology forces people away from each other and causes us to rely more and more on it. I don't know about any of you, but when my cell phone dies, I feel like a part of myself is dead until I charge it. Our society places so much value in technology and the tools it possesses. Without technology, I feel like our society would have a very hard time functioning.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with this. I think the use of technology has made business very impersonal. Everything is sent via email and text, instead of a phone call, or face-to-face meeting. I agree that it would benefit us to get back to the personal side of communication.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Gregory and Ryan. When you are using technology to better yourself and use it to help you, it is one of the greatest assets we have in this world. The problem is today that so many people use technology just to do things for them so they are getting nothing out of it and are not making themselves smarter.
